Jessica Hurst is a Flagstaff native. She is alumnus of Coconino High School and Northern Arizona University. Jessica has been a middle school teacher at Flagstaff Community Christian School since 2007.

She has attended Canyon Chapel since she was six months old. She met the Lord in Sunday school at the age of four and has grown up in our church. While a college freshman, Jessica began helping at youth group events by leading the games and worship. She became youth pastor in 2004.

Jessica has a passion for travel and mission trips. She has already been to fourteen different countries, four of which were mission trips related. One of her goals is to see that as many of the youth as possible participate in a mini missions trip.

The Canyon Chapel youth group is a bit unusual in that the young people come from many different churches as well as from families that do not attend church at all. But no matter what their background, the vision for the youth of Canyon Chapel is that each will

• grow deeper in their faith
• grow bolder in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ
• demonstrate unity in the body of Christ
• serve and reach out to other
